There are two types of people in this world. Those who like Neil Diamond… and those who don’t.
This article has absolutely nothing to do with the sentence right above this one.
There are another two types of people in this world who actually specifically
matter as far as this particular article goes…
One type seeks to discover life as it truly is, no matter what the cost.
Reality is held in high esteem. Even if it hurts.
The other seeks to discover nothing; his only concern is to avoid pain
and experience pleasure. Kind of like… an animal. A really dumb one.
Like a buffoon. Reality is subconsciously avoided at all costs. It’s like kryptonite.
Just a whiff of it is enough to turn him into an ostrich.
For the former, the value of truth supersedes the value of a good time.
For the latter, complete delusion is chump change in return for the comfort it affords.

Did you know that the majority of men out there in the scary scary world are
only men in terms of chronology? Inside… they are still boys.
Still looking for someone to take care of them, still holding on to fairy tales,
still believing the world is a playground.
These man-boys rarely have money, never get girls, usually whine, and love prison.
Children expect someone else to take care of them.
Mature adults take full responsibility for their lives.
Children believe in fairy tales and magical spells.
Adults know how complex life is and how hard they have to work in order to
see anything actually happen. They take the words “easy” and “simple” with a grain of salt.
Children tend to hate work and would rather play all day.
Adults embrace work as a way of life and find joy in it.
Children are naturally selfish. Adults… are naturally selfish too. : – )
But the mature ones work hard to not be.
Children see the world in very simplistic terms.
Adults know better than to believe there are 7 easy steps to ANYthing.

Get It Out Of Your Head That Money/Success Is Of Primary Importance!

The world eats weak people for breakfast.
Heck, it eats them for mid night snacks while it’s sleep walking.
I just pictured a globe sleep walking and grabbing a miniature
alive person out of the fridge and eating it. Is that weird?

Closed minded people operate out of fear.

ask this question with any degree of faith, and He will answer it…
But it’s not gonna feel good.
Boys don’t become men without trial and suffering.
In some cultures they literally torture the boys during their initiation phases.
The Unites States is one of the only countries without an initiation tradition
for boys seeking to become men.
Hence all the people out there seeking Get Rich Quick schemes and being broke all the time.

I’ve spent the last two hours reading articles on this website (which is totally new to me). This article stands out the most. I’m really glad to see that Preston has such a focus on first building self-confidence, happiness, and strengthening yourself. This article tells me that Preston is genuinely concerned with the subscribers well-being and this is not all about selling merchandise and coaching.
Count me in!
I think it’s foolish to go through life and not thank god for your success and the failures that can teach you the most important lesions we need to learn.
You see, it’s the things we don’t know that we don’t know that can keep someone stuck in a bad situation.
If suddenly, by chance, all the people who lost money in the real estate crash realized that this posiibly is the greatest time to make a lifetimes fortune in real estate right now. The whole world would change.
But if you believe now is the time to creative massive wealth with real estate. Then your world can change on a dime!

So it doesn’t really even suck….until YOU realize that The Truth Shall Set You Free. It hurts sometimes… Sometimes it is the toughest thing out of anything to really listen and understand the truth and think about it logically rather than try to avoid it. I promise you though if you ask God for the truth, and nothing more than the truth with a bit of understanding (believe me I have)…it will be one of the best things you’ve ever done – remember also in the Matrix that Morpheus only offered Neo the truth..nothing more & nothing less. He had to physically die in that movie too!, but he came through every challenge and obstacle stronger than ever and rose above and beyond into true FREEDOM.
Jesus also said, “You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free.” In light of this statement, is it possible to experience meaningful freedom in the absence of Truth?
Other than periodic expressions of humor, many adults that lack developed minds, attitudes, emotions and character often exhibit truly obnoxious behavior in defense of their egos. For some, lies and deception are employed to conceal that for which they would otherwise be ashamed were others to recognize the Truth(s) intentionally hidden thereby. It is ironic to consider that one may live in this manner without being consciously aware of the fact.
One is truly blessed who understands and values truth, wisdom, responsibility, accountability . . . and love – for oneself and for others. Such an appreciation nurtures worthiness of trust and respect from others through the consistent evidence of conduct emanating from these values.
So much can be said, yet so little time to do so.

As I read this I thought of where I’ve been, where I’m at, and where I’m headed. I thought of all the people that I used to hang out with who see me now and make stupid remarks in regards to me pursuing my real estate investing endeaveours. I GREW UP AND THEY DIDN’T! I think how aweful it must be to hide behind the crippling facade of, just waiting on God to save them, yet doing nothing in the process to help Him help them. I hear them complain about their situations and I ask the question, “What are you doing to change it?” and they look at me with this perplexed look on their face as if I am speaking another language. I will be the first to admit I have alot to learn in regards to real estate investing and getting my business up and running, but I strongly feel that I am a step ahead of the rest for the simple fact that I made a choice and am following through. NO GUTS, NO GLORY! NO PAIN, NO GAIN! And actions without faith are DEAD!!! I have grown, I am growing, I believe and stand fast in my faith that all things are possible with the Lord. And I will continue to work on this biggest room in my little one bedroom apt. THE ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT! Peace and may God bless you and everything you touch and do in life!

God spanked my inner child for me a month or so back for breaking a promise I made to him. From that I learned 2 things-
1. Don’t break your promises to God, and
2. He has a “wicked” (“holy” doesn’t exactly get my point across) sense of humor too.
Without going into details, the spanking left an embarassing story and even more embar”ass”ing scar. Probably for life. For real.
Anyway, good knowledge drop. I just got through the book of Ecclesiastes, first time, and I never realized how deep and philosophical it was. Very mind-liberating and so true, as was your post.

My husband and I are learning that in order for us to be successful, we have to get up and get going and most importantly, work on ourselves. What is going on inside, manifests on the outside.
I automate my time as much as possible, spend my time on the important things, spend time on myself and my relationships with others, and especially my relationship with God. Things work better this way.

If you want to grow you got to face the brutal truth. Even if it hurts. In my mind it is like going to the surgery – you have to get hurt before you get better. Champions are made not born. So there is nothing wrong to be bad at something at the beginning. You need to know the truth so you can correct bad things and perform better. Truth is just the learning process that’s all. But unfortunately most people don’t see it that way.
I cannot believe you quoted “What About Bob” in your blog. Did you catch that, people? Disco Dan is a believer! This changes everything.

P…Good commentary, just listened to someone address this very issue this week, the law of increase or having increase in our lives. It is not simply something that magically appears, you can not simply expect or ask for blessings to come. The sower must sow the seeds into fertile ground for the harvest to be fruitful. You must be the sower of Gods seed and you Preston have been doing just that. That is why you’ve experienced increase in your life and continue to do so. A lesson for us all! Time to man up, get the heart right!!!

I feel myself going into different stages…one day I feel like the adult, next day I feel like the child. Shoot screw that, it’s almost more of an hourly skitzo experience.
It took me a while to realize what I just said above. I always thought I was the adult and just didn’t feel like doing this or that at certain times of the day/week. I really believe it all starts out in the morning. If I have a solid morning, think positive thoughts/pump myself up in the shower, the day goes much better. If I am lazy and semi sleep in, even if I go and try to jump start it later, it’s not the same.
You’re right, men with children brains, DONT GET GIRLS! At least girls that you want to see in the morning/take home to mom and dad.
